Desde Logroño, por la N-111 dirección Soria. Aparcar en Castañares de las Cuevas.

Aproximación/Approach
Comenzar a caminar por la Calle de Revilla, para evitar entrar en terreno privado, se recomienda atajar por la pared del primer mallo hasta llegar a la puerta metalica. El atajo comienza junto a la carretera, cruzando una puerta de ganado. Una vez pasada la puerta metálica la pista deja de ser privada y podremos seguir caminando con tranquilidad. Continuar la pista hasta llegar a un gran prado verde con un refugio de animales. Desde ahi, dirigirse hacia la cima de los mallos de san Esteban, no hay camino evidente, se recomienda ir buscando las zonas con poca vegetación para llegar arriba sin complicaciones. Se llega con facilidad. Una vez en la cima, dirigirse hacia el suroeste hasta llegar a la cima de San Esteban, donde se encuentra el exit sin problema
Start walking along Calle de Revilla, to avoid entering private land, it is recommended to cut through the wall of the first mesh until you reach the metal gate. The shortcut begins next to the road, through a cattle gate. Once past the metal gate, the track is no longer private and we can continue walking with ease. Continue the track until you reach a large green meadow with an animal shelter. From there, go to the top of the San Esteban mallos, there is no obvious path, it is recommended to go looking for areas with little vegetation to reach the top without complications. It is easily reached. Once at the top, head southwest until you reach the top of San Esteban, where you will find the exit without problem

Observaciones/Notes
Se recomienda no caminar sobre el tramo de terreno privado de la Calle Revilla. El atajo sale desde la misma carretera, cruzando una puerta para el ganado y transcurre por al debajo del primer mallo.
It is recommended not to walk on the stretch of private land on Calle Revilla. The shortcut leaves from the same road, crossing a gate for livestock and runs below the first fence.
